CURRENT STATUS

5/13/11: At the May meeting the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) submitted to the Board both a majority and a minority recommendation regarding the requested garage addition. The Board’s vote on the ARC majority recommendation to approve the owner’s conceptual or preliminary plans was split 5 to 5. Under Robert’s rule a tie vote constituted non-passage of the motion to approve the preliminary plans. The ARC minority recommendation to reject the owner’s request for preliminary plan approval was voted and passed by a 5 to 4 vote. The owner has been advised that his request for approval of his preliminary plan to add a garage addition to his existing house was denied by the Board.

CURRENT STATUS

5/13/11: At the May meeting the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) submitted to the Board both a majority and a minority recommendation regarding the requested non-garage addition. By a vote of 7 to 2 the Board approved the ARC majority recommendation to accept the owner’s conceptual plans for the desired addition. The owner now will proceed to develop sealed engineering plans for review by the city and BSIA.

PROPOSED NEW CONDO/RENTAL DEVELOPMENT: SAN ROCCO DRIVE.

 

CURRENT STATUS

5/13/11: The developer continued to respond favorably to ARC suggestions regarding the physical appearance, etc of he proposed development. There remains a concern among some members of the Board that the development is planned as a rental complex. This concern was relayed to the developer with a request that he consider proceeding as a condo project. Subsequently the developer responded that he would now convert the project to a condo development. Based on this decision the ARC with Board approval advised the developer to proceed to develop engineered plans for city and BSIA review.
