The Burnt Store Isles Association, Inc., Architectural Committee
has been authorized by the Board of Directors to perform the following
objectives:
- Identify, where possible and practical, building
practices or the use of construction materials that
are not consistent with our deed restrictions and advise
the Board of Directors and necessary committees of
the Burnt Store Isles Association of said variations;
- Interface with any group outside of Burnt Store
Isles that would have an impact on our building standards
and property values at the direction of the Board of
Directors or with their concurrence; and,
- Review, research or sponsor community enhancements
programs that would be beneficial to residents and
property owners of Burnt Store Isles, and present these
findings or recommendations to the Board of Directors.
The BSIA Vice-President serves as Chairperson of the Architectural
Committee and is empowered to select such other residents as committee
members as may be required to perform the responsibilities of the committee.
The selection of committee members are selected based on the skills,
education and experience needed to perform the then current activities
of the committee. Members who wish to discuss matters related to the

APPLICATION FOR PROPERTY CHANGES
This form is to be used by property owners within Section 15 Burnt Store Isles (BSI) who are
contemplating a change in the exterior appearance of his/her property or a change in land use. BSI deed
restrictions maintain that all proposed new construction, or alterations or modifications to existing
structures require approval of the Board of Directors.
This application is intended for projects including, but not limited to, landscaping, house color,
construction, fencing/walls, seawalls and roofing. Within 45 days of commencing planned work, please
complete the following information and submit with appropriate documentation to the above address. It
should be noted that a permit issued by the city of Punta Gorda does not supplant or supersede BSI deed
restrictions or the decision of the Board. To promote community harmony, it is suggested that all planned
changes also be shared with neighbors.
